Project Engineering Manager – Onshore (Energy & Hydrocarbon)

About the role

Worley Parsons is seeking a Project Engineering Manager to lead the engineering framework for onshore energy and hydrocarbon projects in Doha. The role oversees multi‑disciplinary design and execution from concept through detailed design, ensuring delivery aligns with client, regulatory and sustainability requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Establish and implement the project engineering execution framework, including procedures, deliverables and interface management.
• Lead multi‑disciplinary engineering teams across Feasibility, Concept, FEED and Detailed Design phases.
• Ensure quality and compliance of engineering deliverables with scope, standards and schedule.
• Develop and maintain the Engineering Management Plan, integrating safety and sustainability activities.
• Manage technical Value Improvement Practices such as technology selection, value engineering and risk assessment.
• Coordinate interfaces between engineering, procurement, construction and third‑party contractors.
• Oversee technical governance, ensuring adherence to Worley standards and industry best practices.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years (60 months) of engineering management experience in the energy or hydrocarbon sector.
• Proven ability to lead multi‑disciplinary teams and deliver complex projects onshore.
• Strong understanding of engineering governance, risk management and change management processes.
