Project Planning & Control Engineer – Interior Fit-Out

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Project Planning & Control Engineer to lead the planning, monitoring, and control of multiple interior fit‑out and turnkey projects. The role works closely with design, commercial, procurement, logistics, and execution teams to ensure projects are delivered on schedule and to agreed standards.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain baseline, master, and detailed project schedules.
• Create a comprehensive WBS covering design, approvals, procurement, production, logistics, site execution, snagging, and handover.
• Prepare weekly and monthly look‑ahead schedules and dashboards.
• Track design deliverables, approvals, procurement, production, material deliveries, and site execution against the plan.
• Monitor milestones, dependencies, critical paths, and identify potential delays.
• Perform schedule impact and delay analysis, and develop recovery or acceleration plans.
• Maintain risk, issue, delay, and action registers and follow up with responsible departments.
• Coordinate regular project progress and planning meetings and produce management reports.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or a related field.
• 5–8 years of experience in project planning and control for interior fit‑out, construction, or turnkey projects.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
• Strong understanding of WBS, CPM, progress measurement, schedule analysis, and recovery planning.
• Experience working in GCC/Qatar environments is preferred.
