Quality Assurance Engineer – Rotary Wing

About the role

The Quality Assurance Engineer – Rotary Wing ensures that the highest maintenance standards are applied to helicopter operations, guaranteeing airworthiness, reliability, and safety. The role works closely with technical staff and regulatory bodies to maintain compliance with the company’s Continuing Airworthiness Management Exposition (CAME), Maintenance Organisation Exposition (MOE), and Technical Procedures Manual (TPM).

Key responsibilities

• Investigate occurrences and recommend corrective actions.
• Conduct internal and external audits and surveillance inspections of all aircraft maintenance activities.
• Perform spot checks on aircraft and detailed surveillance of material supply.
• Carry out Maintenance Documentation Reviews (MDR).
• Maintain databases for QCAA company approvals and staff authorisations.
• Coordinate with QCAA for aircraft certificate renewals.
• Support the Manager of Quality Technical in related duties.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Aeronautical, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or a valid Part‑66 licence.
• Qualified aviation auditor with training in Quality Management System (QMS) and Safety Management System (SMS) for airlines.
• Level‑1 training on at least one helicopter type.
• Minimum 5 years experience as a Quality Assurance Engineer, regulator, systems engineer or LAE on helicopters, plus 4 years of auditing experience.
• Familiarity with EASA, FAA and ICAO regulations and comprehensive knowledge of helicopter operations.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
