Quality Assurance Lead

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Quality Assurance Lead to shape and drive the enterprise QA strategy for large‑scale technology and digital transformation programmes. The role will oversee testing governance, quality engineering and delivery across functional, integration, system, regression, UAT, API, performance and mobile testing.

Key responsibilities

• Define QA strategy, testing standards, governance frameworks and quality processes.
• Lead functional, integration, system, regression, UAT, API, performance and mobile testing activities.
• Drive test automation, continuous testing and CI/CD integration.
• Manage QA teams, resources, delivery plans and performance.
• Oversee defect management, root‑cause analysis, risk mitigation and release readiness.
• Collaborate with business, technology, PMO, vendors and senior stakeholders.
• Monitor testing KPIs, quality metrics, test coverage and automation effectiveness.
• Ensure compliance with SDLC, STLC, regulatory and organisational quality standards.

Required profile

• 15–20 years of software QA/testing experience, including 7+ years in QA leadership.
• Strong background in banking, financial services, fintech or digital banking.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering or related field.
• ISTQB/CSQA/CSTE/CSTP preferred; PMP, ITIL, Agile or Scrum certifications advantageous.
