Recreation Assistant Manager

About the role

The Recreation Assistant Manager supports the delivery of a vibrant leisure program for guests at a golf, fitness and entertainment facility in Doha. You will help create activity agendas, promote a safe and enjoyable environment, and assist guests in making the most of the available amenities.

Key responsibilities

• Create and publish recreational activity schedules and advertisements using publishing software.
• Maintain inventory of supplies, equipment and materials, notifying the manager of low stock.
• Recruit, register and schedule guests for activities, ensuring a fun and relaxed atmosphere.
• Provide information on facilities, enforce rules for safety, and respond to emergencies according to procedures.
• Assist injured guests until emergency services arrive and report incidents to management.
• Clean and maintain equipment, support employee training and act as a role model.
• Process guest transactions, collect payments and uphold quality standards.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to work full‑time on site, standing, walking, and lifting up to 25 lb unaided (50 lb with assistance).
• Strong communication skills, professional appearance and confidentiality.
• Capability to assist guests with disabilities and handle diverse guest needs.

Required skills

• Proficiency with publishing software for creating schedules and advertisements.
• Basic computer and point‑of‑sale system usage.
