Recruitment Specialist – IT & Technical Hiring (Qatar)

About the role

BSL is looking for an experienced Recruitment Specialist to lead IT and technical hiring for its contracts in Qatar. The role is hands‑on and delivery‑focused, managing a high volume of requisitions, building pipelines and acting as the trusted advisor for hiring managers.

Key responsibilities

• Design and execute direct sourcing strategies, headhunting, market mapping and networking to attract passive technical talent locally, regionally and internationally.
• Maintain live, active pipelines aligned with forecasted demand and manage multiple vacancies concurrently.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for hiring managers, providing proactive updates on progress, risks and market conditions.
• Screen, assess and coordinate interviews, ensuring a positive candidate experience.
• Work with rate cards and contract margins to inform sourcing strategy and negotiate offers while protecting BSL’s commercial model.
• Escalate rate‑expectation gaps early and propose alternatives such as banding or role scoping.
• Support offer negotiation, security clearance, onboarding and mobilization.
• Maintain accurate recruitment records in Zoho Recruit in real time and ensure compliance with labour laws and contract governance.
• Contribute market intelligence, salary benchmarking and identify opportunities to expand BSL’s footprint within existing contracts.

Required profile

• Proven experience in high‑volume technical recruitment, preferably within IT or engineering domains.
• Strong understanding of commercial models, contract margins and rate‑card structures.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills, able to provide honest, data‑driven updates.
• Ability to manage multiple vacancies simultaneously without loss of pace or accuracy.
• Familiarity with Qatar labour regulations and contract compliance is a plus.
