Retail Lead – Qatar

About the role

WHOOP is looking for a Retail Lead to launch and run its flagship experiential performance centre, research lab and store in Doha. The role will shape the retail vision, oversee daily operations, and deliver a data‑driven, premium experience to members.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the end‑to‑end launch of the WHOOP Qatar retail experience, including store build‑out, merchandising, systems, staffing and programming.
• Manage daily operations on a 12‑hour, 7‑day schedule, ensuring high standards of service, organization and operational excellence.
• Recruit, hire, train and schedule Research Associates to support retail and experiential functions.
• Drive revenue through sales of memberships, accessories, apparel and the signature WHOOP Your Way experience, meeting or exceeding targets.
• Maintain premium brand standards in visual merchandising, store presentation, inventory management and member engagement.
• Partner with global and regional teams to align brand, marketing and operational strategies.
• Collaborate with Creative and Brand departments on fixture improvements and changes.
• Ensure rigorous reporting, scheduling, compliance and operational processes for a seamless member experience.

Required profile

• 8+ years of retail management experience, including launching high‑end stores or experiential environments.
• Background with premium or luxury brands and a strong understanding of elevated service standards.
• Proven track record recruiting, developing and leading teams in high‑traffic, extended‑hours retail settings.
• Demonstrated ability to execute store launches or major retail activations with meticulous organization.
• Strong operational acumen covering inventory management, scheduling, sales performance tracking and KPI accountability.
