Revit Electrical Draughtsman – MEP Design

About the role

We are looking for a skilled Draughtsman specialized in Revit to produce accurate electrical shop, installation and as‑built drawings for MEP projects. The role involves creating and maintaining 3‑D BIM models and ensuring coordination with all disciplines.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare electrical shop, installation, coordination and as‑built drawings using AutoCAD and Revit MEP.
• Develop and update 3‑D BIM models for electrical systems, including lighting, power, cable tray, containment and earthing layouts.
• Coordinate electrical drawings and models with architectural, structural and other MEP services.
• Identify and resolve BIM clashes using Revit and Navisworks.
• Incorporate consultant/client comments, approved design changes and site‑condition updates into drawings.
• Maintain drawing revisions, numbering and document control, and produce final as‑built documentation.
• Collaborate with engineers, site teams, BIM teams and other disciplines to meet project deadlines and specifications.
• Ensure compliance with approved specifications, QCS, KAHRAMAA and relevant standards.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Drafting or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in electrical construction or MEP drafting.
• Strong hands‑on experience with AutoCAD and Revit MEP.
• Experience on Qatar or GCC projects is preferred.
• Knowledge of Navisworks and BIM coordination is an advantage.
