About the role
The Safety Officer will be responsible for monitoring and enforcing health, safety and environment (HSE) procedures and standards at an oil and gas project located in Ras Laffan, Qatar. This role ensures that all site activities comply with applicable safety regulations and company policies.
Key responsibilities
- Monitor daily site operations to verify compliance with HSE procedures.
- Enforce safety standards and take corrective actions when non‑conformities are identified.
- Conduct regular safety inspections and risk assessments.
- Report safety performance metrics and incidents to management.
- Support the development and implementation of safety improvement initiatives.
Required profile
- 4–5 years of relevant experience in the oil & gas sector.
- NEBOSH certification (mandatory).
- Strong knowledge of HSE procedures, safety standards, and oil & gas site practices.
- Valid Qatar ID (QID) and ability to join immediately.
