Sales & Application Engineer – POCUS & Interventional Technologies

About the role

SECO Healthcare is seeking a dynamic Sales & Application Engineer to expand its portfolio of point‑of‑care ultrasound (POCUS) and interventional technologies across the Qatar market. The role blends business development with hands‑on technical support, ensuring clinicians adopt and benefit from advanced imaging solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Drive sales and business development for assigned POCUS and interventional technology portfolios.
• Conduct product demonstrations, applications and user training for ultrasound and POCUS systems.
• Support clinicians during product evaluations, trials and adoption.
• Provide application support for ultrasound‑guided procedures such as MSK, regional anesthesia, vascular access, pain management and selected interventional radiology cases.
• Develop relationships with physicians, biomedical teams, procurement departments and key decision‑makers.
• Prepare quotations, manage tenders, oversee product trials and follow up commercially.
• Deliver first‑line technical and application support, coordinating deeper service needs with the technical service team.
• Assist with installation, commissioning and handover of equipment.
• Maintain OEM relationships, product knowledge and a robust CRM pipeline.
• Achieve defined revenue, gross‑profit and product‑conversion targets.
• Broaden competence across complementary technologies such as RF systems, pain‑management devices, diagnostic tools, ECG/vascular assessment systems and related accessories.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering or a related discipline.
• 5–8 years of relevant experience in medical‑device sales or application engineering.
• Strong hands‑on experience with ultrasound/POCUS applications.
• Proven ability to conduct independent clinician demonstrations and training.
• Comfortable working across sales, applications and first‑line technical support.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Commercially oriented and target‑driven.
