Sales Associate – Retail

About the role

The Sales Associate will work on the shop floor in Doha, delivering exceptional customer service and driving sales. You will be responsible for assisting customers, handling transactions, and maintaining a tidy, brand‑aligned environment.

Key responsibilities

• Inform the Department Manager of unavailable or non‑performing products (Multimedia specific).
• Provide up‑selling, cross‑selling, suggest alternatives and follow up on customer requests.
• Achieve hourly and daily sales targets through up‑selling and cross‑selling (Multimedia specific).
• Manage receiving of shipments, conduct physical and electronic inventory, and report incidents or suspicious activities.
• Keep shop shelves continuously replenished, clean, and tidy in line with brand standards.
• Handle cash register operations accurately.
• Take measurements for alterations, assign prices, and coordinate alterations (Fashion specific).
• Greet customers, offer assistance, and ensure timely service.
• Merchandise products according to sales trends, release dates, and manager recommendations (Multimedia specific).

Required profile

• Fluency in English.
• High school diploma.
• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Competencies: self‑development, planning and organizing, communication, customer focus, initiative, teamwork, cultural awareness.
