Sales Executive

About the role

We are seeking a dynamic Sales Executive to join the Rixos Gulf Hotel Doha team. The role focuses on driving MICE and hospitality sales, managing requests for proposals, and converting leads into confirmed bookings.

Key responsibilities

• Communicate all RFPs received to the Senior Sales Manager or Assistant Director of Sales for guidance.
• Handle assigned RFPs, gather complete event information from account managers or clients, and prepare tailored offer letters.
• Negotiate rates, amend offers, and follow up promptly to secure business.
• Generate new accounts through face‑to‑face meetings, phone calls, site inspections, and entertainment activities in collaboration with the Accounts Manager.
• Identify up‑selling opportunities by proposing additional events and activities that complement MICE bookings.
• Relay final booking details to senior sales leadership for contract preparation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales or a related field.
• 1–3 years of sales experience; fresh graduates may be considered for entry‑level positions.
• Proven ability to meet sales targets and generate new business.
• Strong communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
• Effective negotiation and persuasion abilities.
• Capability to build and maintain strong customer relationships.
