SCADA Cyber Security Engineer

About the role

Our client is looking for a SCADA Cyber Security Engineer to ensure the secure operation of critical OT environments across a major infrastructure network in Doha. The role combines cyber security expertise with deep knowledge of industrial communications, network monitoring and SCADA system reliability.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain secure OT and SCADA communications.
• Support cyber security systems and network management platforms.
• Track communication performance across operational systems.
• Investigate cyber security incidents and implement corrective actions.
• Coordinate with internal IT teams and external vendors.
• Assist with server maintenance and communications infrastructure.
• Produce security, network performance and operational reports.
• Review cyber security risks and recommend improvements.
• Support disaster recovery and business continuity initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum 10 years of experience supporting SCADA or Industrial Control Systems.
• Background in utilities, water, wastewater, energy or other critical infrastructure sectors.
• Strong knowledge of industrial cyber security standards and best practices.
• Excellent troubleshooting and stakeholder management abilities.
