Security Operations Officer

About the role

The Security Operations Officer provides operational support, coordination and management for security across the Passenger Terminal Complex and associated landside and airside facilities. Reporting to the Airport Security Operations Center Duty Manager, the role ensures that passenger, staff and asset security are maintained at all times.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate security activities across terminal, landside and airside areas.
• Report to and support the Airport Security Operations Center Duty Manager.
• Liaise with airport stakeholders to prevent security compromises.
• Respond to incidents such as bomb threats, hijackings or acts of terrorism, providing information support and coordinating with Flight Operations and Security Duty Managers.
• Initiate appropriate actions during emergencies and maintain accurate incident records.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent, with a qualification in a security‑related field.
• Minimum of 4 years experience in aviation security supervision.
• Knowledge of emergency plans and AVSEC security principles.
• Proficient in MS Office applications.
• Excellent command of English and strong report‑writing abilities.
