Senior Advisor – Product Development and Market Structure

About the role

The Senior Advisor – Product Development and Market Structure will lead the issuer development pillar of the Product & Market Development strategy at Qatar Stock Exchange. This senior position is responsible for designing, structuring, and launching new exchange‑traded products while driving liquidity and market‑structure initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the development and launch of ETFs, REITs, bonds, sukuk, closed‑end funds and future derivatives.
• Define product strategies and roadmaps aligned with QSE’s growth objectives.
• Identify and implement market‑structure and liquidity enhancements.
• Provide technical expertise on product structuring and regulatory compliance.
• Coordinate end‑to‑end product launch activities with internal teams, regulators and market participants.
• Establish governance frameworks, build business cases and monitor product performance.
• Maintain relationships with asset managers, investment banks, issuers and institutional investors.
• Lead and mentor product‑focused business development teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Data Science or related field (Master’s preferred).
• Professional certification such as CFA or FRM is highly desirable.
• 15–20 years of experience in capital markets, financial product development or exchange product management.
• Strong expertise in exchange‑traded products including ETFs, REITs, bonds and sukuk.
