Senior Applications Analyst (FI/CO)

About the role

The Senior Applications Analyst (FI/CO) will provide specialised IT expertise to support critical business functions within QatarEnergy LNG. The role ensures that all support requests are handled efficiently, maintaining high service levels and meeting operational and project KPIs.

Key responsibilities

• Investigate and resolve operational issues, analysing root causes and delivering effective solutions.
• Modify systems, develop work‑arounds, manipulate data, reconfigure applications, and produce documentation as needed.
• Monitor support requests, keep stakeholders informed, and take corrective actions to avoid delays.
• Perform moderately complex software modifications and specify user interfaces, validation rules, security controls and recovery procedures.
• Configure, install and re‑configure business applications, database management systems and related tools.
• Coordinate data specifications and information flows aligned with business needs.
• Define, document and execute medium‑scale projects, managing risks, schedules and quality plans.
• Ensure compliance with information security policies and regulatory requirements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering or Information Systems.
• Minimum 8 years of IT experience, with demonstrated business knowledge in areas such as HR, Logistics, Finance, Basis or GRC.
• Proven ability to work independently on complex technical issues and to collaborate with cross‑functional teams.
