Senior Data Architect

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Data Architect to lead the design and governance of our enterprise data architecture supporting analytics and AI initiatives. The role will work closely with business and technology teams to ensure data solutions are scalable, secure, and aligned with regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Define and maintain conceptual, logical, and physical data models that meet business, analytics, and AI needs.
• Govern the enterprise data architecture framework, including data lineage, integration patterns, and data quality controls.
• Assess AI use cases from a technical perspective, ensuring data sourcing, integration, performance, and scalability.
• Implement technical controls for Responsible AI, such as bias detection, explainability, and monitoring.
• Review vendor and third‑party solutions for compliance with architecture standards, security, and data protection.
• Oversee data integration frameworks, ETL/ELT processes, APIs, streaming, and batch data flows across systems.
• Support regulatory compliance, audits, and architecture governance forums.

Required profile

• 7–10 years of experience in data architecture, enterprise data management, or data engineering, preferably in banking or financial services.
• Strong knowledge of data modeling, data integration, data governance, and metadata management.
• Experience with modern data platforms, data warehouses, lakehouses, and cloud/hybrid environments.
• Understanding of AI/ML data ecosystems and Responsible AI principles.
• Excellent analytical, architectural, and stakeholder‑management skills.
