Senior Engineer - Network Security

About the role

Malomatia is seeking a Senior Engineer to lead the design, implementation, and hardening of its core network security infrastructure. You will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, security, and performance of critical network devices and security platforms across the datacenter and corporate environment.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain, operate and harden Cisco Nexus, Catalyst switches, routers, and wireless controllers.
• Configure, monitor and support Fortinet, Palo Alto, and Cisco firewalls, as well as F5 Web Application Firewalls.
• Implement and sustain the Information Security Management System (ISMS) aligned with ISO/IEC 27001.
• Perform routine audits, patching, backup verification and security hardening of network components.
• Respond to datacenter health alerts, troubleshoot hardware failures, and execute network upgrades.
• Collaborate with internal and external partners to track project status and deliver security solutions.

Required profile

• 8‑10 years of hands‑on experience in network operations and security engineering.
• Strong knowledge of VLAN, DHCP, routing, IPsec VPNs, NAT/PAT, proxy and VPN technologies.
• Familiarity with cyber‑security frameworks such as NIST, CIS Controls and ISO 27001.
• Proven ability to work within change‑management and configuration‑management processes.
