Senior Environmental Engineer – Offshore Projects

About the role

Provide environmental engineering expertise across offshore greenfield and brownfield projects, supporting all phases from detailed engineering to commissioning while ensuring compliance with regulations, specifications and industry standards.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver technical guidance and environmental assurance throughout the project lifecycle.
• Support detailed engineering, fabrication, construction, installation and commissioning activities.
• Ensure safe, efficient and timely delivery of offshore facilities within approved budgets and performance objectives.

Required profile

• Minimum 12 years' environmental engineering experience in the Oil & Gas sector, preferably offshore.
• Strong knowledge of environmental regulations, HSE requirements and industry standards.
• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering or related discipline; postgraduate qualification advantageous.
• Professional membership or certification with a recognized engineering, environmental or HSE body preferred.

Required skills

• Experience conducting and reviewing EIA, ENVID, HAZID, HIRA and QRA studies.
• Ability to develop and review environmental management plans, procedures and compliance documentation.
• Familiarity with environmental impacts across construction, operations, decommissioning and abandonment phases.
• Strong stakeholder management, communication and presentation abilities.
