Senior Financial Analyst - Cargo

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Financial Analyst to support our cargo business in Doha. The role involves financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis and building business cases to drive informed decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Develop financial models and perform quantitative analysis using a broad range of tools.
• Analyse actual revenues and costs, prepare root‑cause variance reports on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis.
• Identify and implement process improvements in collaboration with finance and business stakeholders.
• Conduct ad‑hoc revenue and cost analyses for senior management.
• Define, monitor and report key performance indicators regularly.
• Ensure financial reporting aligns with corporate definitions and standards.
• Optimize reporting of route profitability, financial accounting and management reporting.
• Review annual budget submissions against strategic targets and control spend to meet cost‑of‑sale goals.
• Evaluate business case proposals for incremental revenue or cost reduction.
• Check contracts for financial compliance and consolidate departmental results for monthly and annual reporting.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
• Minimum 4 years of experience as a financial analyst.
• Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills in English.
• Ability to work with employees at all organisational levels.
