Senior Fire Engineer

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Fire Engineer to join KEO International Consultants’ Qatar office. The role focuses on ensuring fire and life‑safety compliance across projects by reviewing contractor submissions and supporting the design team.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain clear communication with client discipline engineers on all fire/life‑safety matters.
• Review, approve and process contractor fire/life‑safety technical submittals, including material data, design drawings and method statements.
• Advise mechanical fire/life‑safety project and site staff as required.
• Identify and flag issues and risks to senior management and the Head of Department.
• Conduct design reviews of fire‑protection systems.
• Perform fire‑safety system audits and issue installation certifications.
• Drive technical integrity through peer reviews and best‑practice delivery.

Required profile

• Minimum 15 years of professional experience in fire engineering.
• Bachelor’s degree in Fire Engineering or a related field.
• Professional registration with a recognized fire‑engineers society or equivalent body.
