Senior IT Operations Specialist

About the role

We are seeking a Senior IT Operations Specialist to oversee and support the organization’s IT infrastructure, systems, and cybersecurity. The role ensures reliable, secure, and efficient technology operations while driving continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and support networks, servers, endpoints, and related infrastructure.
• Administer Microsoft 365, Microsoft Intune, Azure, and Active Directory environments.
• Handle endpoint devices, user accounts, access rights, and IT assets.
• Support backup, recovery, data protection, and business continuity processes.
• Monitor system performance, availability, security, and overall health.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex Tier 2/3 technical issues.
• Assist cybersecurity initiatives, vulnerability management, and compliance.
• Coordinate employee onboarding/offboarding for IT resources.
• Maintain technical documentation, procedures, and asset records.
• Manage relationships with IT vendors, software providers, and hardware suppliers.
• Review licenses and services to identify cost‑optimization opportunities.
• Support evaluation and implementation of new IT tools and solutions.
• Prioritize incidents and infrastructure work based on business needs.
• Provide occasional after‑hours or weekend support for critical incidents.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, MIS or related field.
• 7–10 years of experience in IT infrastructure, systems administration, and technical support.
• 3–5 years in a senior, supervisory, or technical lead capacity.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities and independent work style.
