Senior Manager E-Commerce Sales

About the role

The Senior Manager E-Commerce Sales will shape and execute the global e‑commerce strategy, supporting the Vice President to boost direct sales, self‑service adoption and a five‑star customer experience across all digital channels.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and lead the airline’s ancillary revenue strategy, selling hotels, transfers, insurance and other non‑air products.
• Plan, staff and manage large, complex projects, maintaining risk logs and mitigating issues.
• Align commercial objectives by integrating sales, marketing and distribution strategies across e‑channels.
• Establish global business processes, systems and procedures to operationalise e‑commerce strategies.
• Increase self‑service share to reduce cost of sales and servicing.
• Oversee product road‑maps for Internet Booking Engine, online check‑in and mobile platforms.
• Manage worldwide customer‑service operations that support e‑sales and e‑services.
• Lead multi‑million‑dollar RFP processes and recommend technology solutions.
• Collaborate to deliver a five‑star experience on web, mobile and other e‑channels.

Required profile

• Post‑graduate level qualification in IT, Marketing or a related field.
• Minimum 10 years of relevant e‑commerce experience.
• At least 5 years in a senior leadership role, preferably within the airline industry.
• Proven track record in driving revenue, managing large projects and leading RFPs.
• Strong understanding of ancillary revenue streams and digital customer journeys.
