About the role
Madre Integrated Engineering is looking for a Senior Mechanical Engineer in Doha to lead mechanical construction supervision, technical reviews, equipment selection, vendor document review and site coordination. The role covers mechanical and piping works on oil and gas projects.
Key responsibilities
- Lead mechanical and piping construction supervision activities.
- Review datasheets, specifications, technical bid evaluations and vendor documents.
- Supervise mechanical installation works and subcontractor performance.
- Ensure work is completed on schedule and in compliance with drawings and specifications.
- Support equipment sizing, selection, hydraulic calculations and thermal calculations.
- Prepare senior-level progress, manpower, material and equipment reports.
Required profile
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
- Minimum 15+ years of experience in large construction works within oil and gas or petrochemical projects.
- ASME, API or PMP certification is an added advantage.
Required skills
- Mechanical and piping installation knowledge.
- Equipment sizing, specifications and datasheet review.
- Vendor review and technical bid evaluation.
