About the role
The organization seeks a senior professional to lead membership registration, licensing, renewal and compliance verification within a highly regulated environment. The role combines operational oversight, stakeholder engagement and strategic support for governance and digital transformation initiatives.
Key responsibilities
- Lead membership registration, licensing, renewal and compliance verification activities.
- Review, verify and approve regulatory and operational documentation.
- Oversee databases, records management and documentation controls to ensure data integrity.
- Coordinate with government entities, regulatory authorities and external stakeholders on compliance matters.
- Monitor adherence to regulatory requirements, internal policies and governance frameworks.
- Support audits, inspections, compliance reviews and corrective‑action initiatives.
- Collect, analyse and report operational and performance data; prepare management reports, dashboards and presentations.
- Develop and implement policies, procedures and process‑improvement initiatives.
- Lead stakeholder‑engagement, awareness programmes and training initiatives.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members.
- Contribute to strategic planning, operational enhancement and digital transformation projects.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in International Trade, Business Administration, Law, Economics, Customs Administration, Public Administration, Computer Science or related field.
- 5‑8 years of experience in regulatory affairs, licensing, compliance, trade operations or customs.
- Proven experience managing regulatory processes and stakeholder‑engagement initiatives.
- Experience working with government entities, regulatory authorities or international organisations is strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated leadership potential, strong analytical abilities and discretion.
- Professional fluency in Arabic and English is preferred.
Required skills
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
- Experience with regulatory platforms, databases and enterprise systems.
- Strong data analysis, reporting and interpretation capabilities.
