Senior Planner – Data Centre

About the role

Turner & Townsend is seeking a Senior Planner to join its Data Centre team in Qatar. You will lead planning and scheduling activities for high‑profile hyperscale data centre projects, supporting project management and client decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Implement project planning and scheduling strategy, develop and maintain Primavera P6 schedules, WBS, and resource loading.
• Analyse schedules, perform forecasts, track performance metrics (SPI, CPI, Earned Value) and integrate contract packages into a master plan.
• Review contractor schedules, prepare progress reports, and develop mitigation plans for delays.
• Assess extension‑of‑time claims, prepare defence reports, and recommend actions on change orders.
• Coordinate schedule data from vendors, suppliers, and contractors, and provide onsite progress measurement and billing verification.

Required profile

• 10+ years of experience in project planning and scheduling, specifically on hyperscale data centre construction.
• Strong understanding of construction methodologies, contract terms, and international project management standards (PMI).
• Proven ability to lead, coordinate multiple schedule inputs, and communicate effectively with project teams.
