Senior Planning Engineer (Construction)

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Planning Engineer to lead the planning and control of large‑scale construction projects in Doha. The role involves developing comprehensive project schedules, monitoring progress, and ensuring alignment with client and supplier expectations.

Key responsibilities

• Develop initiation programmes and detailed plans for all development phases and establish a project progress control system.
• Present project plans to stakeholders and ensure supplier programmes comply with the detailed schedule.
• Monitor supplier progress, draw up recovery action plans for slippage, and manage claim analysis.
• Close‑out planning functions, maintain accurate project data, and produce cost, schedule, and document control reports.
• Define project control procedures, establish work breakdown structures, and set cost and schedule baselines.

Required profile

• Minimum 15 years of construction planning experience, including at least 8 years in high‑quality, publicly visible projects.
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering; UPDA certification preferred; PSP certification and MBA considered an advantage.
• Proven track record using Primavera P6, Primavera Enterprises and Primavera Contract Management.
