Service Planner

About the role

The Service Planner will coordinate the full planning process for repair services of Gas Seal and Wet Seal products, manage the sales order book and support key business KPIs. This position works closely with logistics, local agents and the Dubai logistics team to ensure timely delivery and accurate service quoting.

Key responsibilities

• Manage service order book in SAP, including creation of new SMO/equipment numbers for Wet Seal and Gas Seal products.
• Generate demand by raising purchase requisitions for spare parts on each SMO.
• Prepare service quotations and handle export/import documentation for DGS components.
• Track receipt and delivery of customer goods and maintain the Service Order Tracker.
• Report service status in E3 meetings and follow up with local agents and Dubai logistics on KPI gaps.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• Previous experience in planning or internal sales within an engineering service environment.
• Familiarity with Qatar import and export regulations.
• Arabic language skills are a plus.
• Strong analytical, reporting and interpersonal abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency with SAP.
• Technical knowledge of the John Crane product portfolio.
• Planning and scheduling techniques.
• Understanding of oil & gas and petrochemical industry processes.
