Services Head – Kuwait, Qatar & Oman (Director)

About the role

Citi Services is seeking a senior leader to head its Services business across Kuwait, Qatar and Oman. Reporting to the MEP Services sub‑cluster leadership team, you will shape and execute a cross‑border strategy that drives market‑share growth, deepens client relationships and reinforces Citi’s position as a leading global transaction‑banking provider in the GCC.

Key responsibilities

• Define and implement short‑ and long‑term Services strategy aligned with MEA cluster and global objectives.
• Expand market and client wallet share, broadening the solutions portfolio across all segments.
• Navigate a complex matrix environment, aligning stakeholders across competing priorities.
• Drive digital transformation and innovation in response to GCC market trends and fintech disruption.
• Develop strategic responses to macro‑economic shifts, crisis scenarios and evolving risk profiles.
• Deliver on revenue, EBIT, expense targets and other financial KPIs for the three markets.
• Lead client acquisition, retention and wallet‑share expansion across all Services lines.
• Oversee end‑to‑end Services operations, including sales, product, operations and technology teams.
• Identify, develop and prioritize technology business cases, securing cluster and global buy‑in.

Required profile

• Extensive senior leadership experience in transaction banking, cash management or related financial services.
• Proven track record of delivering revenue growth and managing P&L in high‑growth markets.
• Deep understanding of GCC financial markets, regulatory environments and client needs.
• Strong strategic thinking with the ability to influence cross‑functional teams.
• Experience driving digital innovation and managing technology‑focused initiatives.
