Shift Technician

About the role

The Shift Technician ensures the smooth operation of guest rooms and public areas within a Radisson hotel. You will respond quickly to guest complaints, perform routine maintenance, and support the engineering team in keeping all hotel systems functional.

Key responsibilities

• Attend to guest complaints promptly and resolve issues in rooms and corridors.
• Replace fused bulbs, maintain fast‑spare stock, and carry out annual room maintenance.
• Repair HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpet, wallpaper, and painting work as needed.
• Enforce health, safety, hygiene, and fire‑drill regulations throughout the property.
• Participate in daily assignment sheets, briefings, engineering meetings, and training sessions.

Required profile

• 2‑3 years of maintenance or technical experience, preferably in hospitality.
• Hands‑on experience with hotel systems such as HVAC, plumbing and electrical.
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair a variety of equipment quickly and safely.
• Strong problem‑solving, organizational skills and knowledge of hotel safety standards.
