Shop Manager

About the role

The Shop Manager will lead daily store operations in Doha, ensuring smooth customer experiences and achieving sales targets. This role combines operational oversight, staff development, and budget management to drive store performance.

Key responsibilities

• Resolve critical store operational issues and customer complaints to maintain service quality.
• Recruit, select, and onboard shop staff, assessing both job‑fit and team‑fit.
• Manage the annual budget, monitor expenditures, optimise costs and report variances.
• Control stock levels, place orders, and align inventory with sales objectives.
• Monitor hourly revenue and create staff schedules that match operational needs cost‑effectively.
• Prepare management reports on store performance for informed decision‑making.
• Communicate sales plans and targets, motivate the team, and drive achievement of sales goals.
• Evaluate performance of the Customer Service Manager, Assistant Manager, Department Manager, Sales Associates, Cashiers and Stock Keepers.
• Coordinate shop events and marketing activities with suppliers, media and other partners.
• Oversee merchandising, store cleanliness, window displays, and related shop activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a managerial role.
• Retail or industry experience is a strong plus.
• Strong knowledge of store operating procedures.
• Fluency in English.
• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Strong product knowledge.
