Site Manager

About the role

The Site Manager will report to the Event Director and lead the planning, coordination and delivery of all temporary structures and site services for an international championship. This includes overseeing design, construction, maintenance and removal of infrastructures such as grandstands, broadcast facilities and operational compounds while ensuring safety, quality and sustainability.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee day‑to‑day site operations before, during and after the event.
• Coordinate venue setup, overlay installation and dismantling activities.
• Manage site logistics, contractor access and operational readiness.
• Collaborate with internal teams, suppliers and stakeholders to ensure seamless delivery.
• Monitor site safety, compliance and adherence to event operational standards.
• Identify and resolve on‑site operational issues to maintain event continuity.
• Support venue inspections, testing and readiness activities.
• Maintain site documentation and provide operational reports throughout the project.

Required profile

• 5–8 years of experience in site management, venue or event operations, or infrastructure delivery.
• Experience delivering major sporting or large‑scale temporary venue projects is preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent qualification.
• Currently based in Qatar with a valid Residence Permit (QID) and able to provide a No Objection Certificate if required.
