Site Supervisor – Dredging (Qatar)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Site Supervisor to lead dredging and marine construction activities on an on‑shore project in Qatar. The role involves overseeing daily operations, coordinating equipment and workforce, and ensuring work is performed to approved designs and standards.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise daily dredging, reclamation, breakwater, quay wall, revetment, jetty and other marine construction works.
• Monitor contractor, subcontractor and workforce performance against project plans.
• Coordinate deployment of dredgers, barges, tugs, survey vessels and supporting marine equipment.
• Track production rates, verify dredging depths, excavation volumes, disposal activities and land‑reclamation progress.
• Identify construction constraints and recommend corrective actions.
• Enforce HSE policies, report unsafe conditions and implement corrective measures.
• Implement Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs) to meet quality standards and support punch‑list closure.
• Verify dredging volumes with surveyors and prepare daily site reports covering workforce, equipment utilisation, production, weather and progress.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Marine Engineering, Construction Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in dredging, marine works, reclamation or port construction projects.
• Proven ability to manage large‑scale marine construction sites and coordinate multidisciplinary teams.
