Software Development Specialist

About the role

The Software Development Specialist will lead information architecture and deliver end‑to‑end solutions across DMS, SharePoint, Dynamics 365, Power Platform and .NET/Azure applications. You will ensure production systems are supported, scalable and aligned with PHCC’s mission to transform healthcare delivery in Qatar.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the primary contact for production support of DMS, SharePoint, Dynamics 365 and Power Platform applications.
• Manage the full product lifecycle, including knowledge transfer, hand‑over and ongoing operations.
• Monitor application health, generate alerts, and execute both automated and manual deployments.
• Gather requirements, design, develop, test, deploy and maintain software solutions.
• Deliver custom and out‑of‑the‑box functionality such as web parts, forms, templates and master pages.
• Produce and maintain architecture documents, flow diagrams, site maps, wireframes, use cases, test plans and usability materials.
• Apply a proactive patient‑safety approach by identifying and reporting risks.
• Maintain confidentiality and perform any additional duties assigned by management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar software development role.
• Relevant certifications in Microsoft technologies or software development.
• Experience in healthcare or health‑care organizations is preferred.
• Strong background in data integration and data conversions is a plus.

Required skills

• Proficiency with DMS, SharePoint, Dynamics 365 and Power Platform.
• Strong .NET development experience.
• Hands‑on knowledge of Microsoft Azure services.
• Experience designing and deploying web parts, forms, templates and master pages.
