Software Engineer - E-Commerce (Remote)

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Software Engineer to join a global technology leader focused on high‑traffic e‑commerce platforms. The position is fully remote and ideal for a new graduate eager to build scalable backend services that power real‑time user experiences worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services in a distributed micro‑services environment.
• Write clean, efficient, and well‑tested code following industry best practices.
• Profile, debug, and optimise system performance and algorithms.
• Participate in code reviews, architectural discussions, and technical design sessions.
• Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and fellow engineers to ship features.

Required profile

• Recent graduate (new‑grad) or junior‑level engineer with a strong foundation in computer science.
• Proficiency in at least one of the following languages: Go, Python, or Java.
• Familiarity with distributed systems, micro‑services, or cloud‑native development.
• Understanding of data structures, algorithms, and system design principles.
• Experience with version control (Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
