Software Engineer - E-Commerce (Remote)

About the role

We are looking for a Software Engineer to join a leading technology company focused on high‑traffic e‑commerce platforms. The role is fully remote and involves building and optimizing backend services that power real‑time user experiences for millions of customers worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services in distributed systems.
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following best practices and testing standards.
• Profile, debug, and improve system performance through algorithmic enhancements.
• Participate in code reviews, architectural discussions, and technical design sessions.
• Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and fellow engineers to ship features.

Required profile

• Proficiency in at least one of the following languages: Go, Python, or Java.
• Experience with distributed systems, microservices, or cloud‑native development.
• Familiarity with both SQL and NoSQL databases and performance tuning.
• Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and system design principles.
• Experience using version control (Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
