System Test Manager

About the role

We are looking for an experienced System Test Manager to lead our testing team and ensure the delivery of high‑quality software products. The role involves planning, coordinating and overseeing all testing activities while providing support during night and after‑office hours when required.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement and maintain comprehensive test strategies, plans and processes aligned with project requirements and business objectives.
• Lead, mentor and manage a team of testers to achieve high productivity, quality and motivation.
• Collaborate with project managers, software managers and stakeholders to clarify requirements and define testing scope.
• Oversee test execution across functional, regression, integration, performance and user‑acceptance testing phases.
• Define, monitor and report key testing metrics, providing regular updates on progress, quality and risks.
• Identify, assess and mitigate risks related to software releases and deployments.
• Manage test environments, tools and automation frameworks to improve efficiency and coverage.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and internal quality policies.
• Drive continuous improvement through feedback and retrospectives.
• Coordinate testing activities with external vendors or partners when applicable.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.
• Minimum 15 years of software testing experience, including at least 10 years in a managerial role.
• Proven experience leading end‑to‑end testing for large‑scale projects in Agile and Waterfall environments.
• Experience in transport/traffic management domain is advantageous.
• Strong knowledge of SDLC and testing methodologies.
• Excellent leadership, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
