System Tester

About the role

We are looking for a System Tester to ensure the quality and reliability of our applications. The role involves executing comprehensive test activities, identifying defects, and working closely with cross‑functional teams to deliver stable, high‑performing systems.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in end‑to‑end testing activities, including test planning, design, implementation, execution and closure.
• Design and execute test cases based on functional and technical requirements, covering functional, integration, system, regression and sanity testing.
• Validate system integrations across multiple components and platforms and analyze real‑time data flows for accuracy.
• Identify, log and track defects, collaborating with development teams to ensure timely resolution.
• Review requirements and system design documents to ensure testability and coverage.
• Support simulation and scenario‑based testing where applicable and collaborate with developers, stakeholders and operations.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in system or software testing, preferably on complex or mission‑critical systems.
• Ability to work independently, support night and after‑hours testing, and proactively drive tasks.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting and communication skills with high attention to detail.

Required skills

• Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC and QA methodologies.
• Basic knowledge of database testing (SQL) and API testing concepts.
• Experience with test management and defect tracking tools such as JIRA and TestRail.
• Familiarity with test automation tools or scripting (advantage).
• ISTQB Foundation certification or working towards it (advantage).
