System Tester – Quality Assurance for Complex Systems

About the role

We are looking for a System Tester to ensure the quality, reliability and performance of our applications. You will work closely with developers, stakeholders and operations to deliver stable, high‑performing systems.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in end‑to‑end testing activities, from planning to closure.
• Design and execute test cases based on functional and technical requirements.
• Perform functional, integration, system, regression and sanity testing.
• Validate system integrations across multiple components and platforms.
• Analyze real‑time data flows to ensure accuracy and consistency.
• Identify, log and track defects, collaborating with development teams for timely resolution.
• Review requirements and design documents to ensure testability and coverage.
• Support simulation and scenario‑based testing where applicable.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams, including developers, stakeholders and operations.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in system or software testing.
• Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC and QA methodologies.
• Ability to work independently, drive tasks proactively and support night/after‑hours testing.

Required skills

• SQL (basic database testing).
• API testing concepts.
• Test management and defect tracking tools such as JIRA and TestRail.
• Knowledge of SDLC and STLC processes.
• Familiarity with test automation tools or scripting (advantage).
• ISTQB Foundation certification (or working towards it).
