Talent Development Officer – Training & Procurement

About the role

The Talent Development Officer will coordinate internal and external training programmes for airport staff, ensuring alignment with the annual Training Plan and training matrix. This role combines procurement, logistics and content design to deliver effective learning solutions for Hamad International Airport.

Key responsibilities

• Liaise with international and local training providers, manage contracts and purchase orders.
• Oversee end‑to‑end procurement of training services, benchmark courses and evaluate costs.
• Schedule and coordinate all logistical aspects of external courses, including nominations, enrolment and prerequisite verification.
• Process post‑training activities such as invoice validation, certificate review and data collection.
• Collect, analyse and report on training data to assess impact and compliance.
• Support the design and delivery of internal programmes such as rotations, airport familiarisations, internships and community service initiatives.
• Assist in creating training materials and digital e‑learning content in collaboration with stakeholders.

Required profile

• Proven experience in coordinating training programmes and procurement processes.
• Strong analytical abilities to evaluate costs, benchmark providers and report on training outcomes.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills across multiple departments.
• Ability to handle multiple logistical tasks and meet tight deadlines.
• Familiarity with training policies, contracts and compliance procedures.
