Tax Analyst

About the role

The Tax team is looking for a Tax Analyst to support tax compliance, reporting and day-to-day tax matters across multiple jurisdictions. The role also covers tax research, review of tax calculations and returns, and monitoring of legislative changes.

Key responsibilities

• Perform tax research on local and international tax matters and prepare concise summaries of relevant legislation, regulations and tax developments.
• Assist with the preparation and review of tax calculations, tax returns, tax provisions and supporting schedules.
• Maintain the Group's tax compliance calendar, tax records and supporting documentation.
• Review financial and transactional information to identify potential tax compliance issues and exposures for escalation.
• Monitor changes in local tax legislation, OECD developments and Pillar Two requirements and assess their relevance to the Group.
• Assist the Tax Director and Tax Manager with ad hoc tax research, analysis and internal tax projects.

Required profile

• 3+ years of Big4 tax experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Law, Taxation, Accounting or Finance.
• Practical experience with corporate income tax, withholding tax and VAT compliance.
• Fluent English; Arabic, Spanish, Russian or other languages are an advantage.

Required skills

• Strong tax research skills and ability to interpret tax legislation across jurisdictions.
• Practical exposure to OECD BEPS and Pillar Two.
• Good organization and ability to manage multiple filing and reporting deadlines.
• Strong Excel skills and ability to work with financial and accounting information.
