Technical Officer - Mechanical

About the role

The Mechanical Technical Officer will support the engineering team in delivering high‑quality construction projects in Doha. You will be responsible for preparing detailed design documentation, conducting site inspections, and ensuring compliance with relevant codes and standards.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documentation.
• Conduct site inspections and produce comprehensive progress and quality reports.
• Liaise with contractors, subcontractors and stakeholders to meet project objectives.
• Provide technical guidance, troubleshooting and problem‑solving support to the engineering team.
• Assist in developing project schedules, budgets and risk‑management plans.
• Monitor compliance with building codes, regulations and safety standards.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of engineering processes and procedures.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Mechanical Technical Officer or in a comparable technical role.
• Strong knowledge of Mechanical and HVAC engineering principles, construction methods and project management techniques.
• Familiarity with relevant building codes, regulations and safety standards.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with diverse stakeholders.
