Telecom Supervisor

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Telecom Supervisor to lead a team of technicians at our Ras Laffan site. The role involves overseeing the installation, testing, commissioning and maintenance of fire‑alarm, CCTV, safety and telecom/ELV systems, ensuring all work meets quality, safety and client requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise technicians and coordinate daily site activities and work assignments.
• Oversee installation, testing, commissioning and maintenance of fire‑alarm, CCTV, safety/security and telecom/ELV systems.
• Troubleshoot technical faults and ensure timely corrective action.
• Monitor work to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications and quality standards.
• Read and interpret technical drawings, layouts and system documentation.
• Coordinate with engineers, clients, subcontractors and other site teams.
• Prepare daily progress reports and maintain inspection and maintenance records.
• Ensure all work is carried out safely and in compliance with HSE procedures and site requirements.

Required profile

• 4–5 years of relevant experience in Telecom, ELV, low‑current or related systems.
• Hands‑on experience with fire‑alarm systems, CCTV, safety equipment and structured/telecom cabling.
• Previous experience in oil & gas, petrochemical, industrial or EPC projects is preferred.
• Experience in Ras Laffan is an advantage.
• Good knowledge of PTW, HSE requirements and industrial site practices.
• Strong troubleshooting, communication, coordination and team‑supervision skills.
• Willingness to work at Ras Laffan and meet site access and medical requirements.
