TMM Officer – Card Reconciliation

About the role

The TMM Officer will lead and execute reconciliation activities for card transactions and settlement accounts across multiple payment channels. The role ensures timely, accurate matching of transaction data, compliance with regulatory standards, and supports automation and process improvement initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Perform daily reconciliation of transactions from NAPS, Visa, Mastercard, China UnionPay, Apple Pay, ATM/POS networks, and correspondent banking partners.
• Match settlement files against internal systems, general ledger, suspense, nostro, and switch records.
• Investigate and resolve breaks, unmatched, rejected, chargeback, reversal, and settlement variance items within SLA timelines.
• Analyze settlement files for fees, commissions, interchange, assessments, and scheme charges.
• Coordinate with Card Operations, Finance, IT, Digital Banking, branches, and external schemes to close discrepancies.
• Monitor aged items, generate exception and management reports, and maintain regulatory dashboards.
• Validate e‑remittance, refunds, ATM disputes, merchant settlements, and digital wallet transactions.
• Support UAT testing, system upgrades, automation projects, and new product roll‑outs.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of card processing, settlement cycles, and banking regulations.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet strict SLA requirements.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Effective communication and coordination with cross‑functional teams.
