Vendor Relationship Management Specialist

About the role

We are seeking a Vendor Relationship Management Specialist to lead the full vendor lifecycle, from registration and onboarding to performance monitoring and continuous improvement. The role is pivotal in strengthening supplier partnerships, enhancing vendor performance, and supporting procurement excellence across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end vendor registration, qualification, and onboarding, ensuring compliance and timely approvals.
• Conduct market research to identify and pre‑qualify new suppliers, supporting vendor segmentation and categorisation strategies.
• Develop and maintain vendor performance evaluation frameworks, monitor KPIs, SLAs and scorecards, and drive corrective action plans.
• Maintain a centralized vendor database within ERP systems, ensuring data integrity, accurate classification and up‑to‑date records.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for vendor‑related matters, fostering strong relationships and facilitating collaboration with internal stakeholders.

Required profile

• Minimum 6 years (72 months) of experience in vendor or supplier relationship management.
• Proven ability to manage vendor onboarding, performance monitoring and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Strong analytical skills with experience in market research and supplier segmentation.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑engagement capabilities.
