Distribution Specialist

About the role

The Distribution Specialist will support Qatar Airways' Distribution function, working across channel economics, partner relationships, and distribution technology. Reporting to the GR9 Manager, the role combines commercial insight, analytical rigor, and technical integration to optimise the airline's reach and revenue.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse channel performance and provide data‑driven recommendations to improve mix and profitability.
• Support partner onboarding, track commitments, and prepare meeting materials for distribution partners.
• Monitor NDC adoption, conduct connectivity testing, and validate API integrations.
• Produce cost‑of‑sale reports, support commercial agreements, and ensure platform monitoring.
• Identify gaps, risks, or inefficiencies in workstreams and propose solutions.
• Stay updated on NDC evolution, GDS changes, aggregator developments, and emerging retailing capabilities.

Required profile

• Works under manager guidance with a meaningful degree of independence on well‑scoped deliverables.
• Demonstrates subject‑matter depth across commercial, analytical, and technical distribution domains.
• Collaborates effectively with Commercial, IT, Revenue Management, Finance, and external partners.

Required skills
