Hook Up Engineer

About the role

The Hook Up Engineer supports the execution of hook‑up activities on offshore and onshore projects, applying technical knowledge to solve straightforward engineering challenges. Working under moderate guidance, the engineer ensures that all hook‑up tasks are performed safely, on schedule, and in compliance with company standards.

Key responsibilities

• Interpret and apply the company’s Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality policies.
• Participate in pre‑engineering and pre‑construction surveys, providing field guidance.
• Review drawings for constructability, identify issues, and coordinate resolutions.
• Prepare and issue final hook‑up construction work packs, task sheets, and schedules.
• Monitor scope changes, manage material requisitions, and coordinate deliveries to offshore locations.
• Provide technical support during planning and execution phases, ensuring compliance with industry codes and contractual requirements.
• Participate in HAZID discussions and incident investigations, reporting findings to the project team.
• Prepare technical reports, checklists, and progress updates for stakeholders.

Required profile

• Understanding of HSE policies and ability to follow the company management system.
• Experience reviewing engineering drawings and specifications.
• Ability to work on‑site, travel to offshore facilities, and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong analytical skills for evaluating solutions and managing scope changes.
