Assistant Vice President – Corporate Actions (Qatarization)

About the role

The Assistant Vice President – Corporate Actions will lead the Dividend and IPO Processing unit at QNB, ensuring accurate and timely distribution of dividends and managing IPO subscription processes for corporate clients. This senior position supports Qatarization objectives and drives improvements in dividend payments for non‑Qatari shareholders.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee end‑to‑end dividend processing and ensure payments are made in accordance with contractual arrangements.
• Manage the IPO subscription workflow, coordinating with lead banks and corporate customers.
• Develop and monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for the unit and implement best practices.
• Establish Service Level Agreements (SLAs) with internal departments to improve turnaround times.
• Promote cost efficiency, productivity and quality across corporate actions processes.
• Explore enhancements to the IPO processing system and dividend distribution mechanisms, including currency handling for non‑Qatari shareholders.

Required profile

• Proven experience in corporate actions, dividend processing or IPO management within a banking environment.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to design and track performance metrics.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills, both internal and external.
• Demonstrated commitment to Qatarization and regulatory compliance.
