Avionics and Electrical & Environmental Technician

About the role

Boeing Global Services is seeking an Avionics and Electrical & Environmental (E&E) Technician to support maintenance operations at Al Udeid Air Base, Qatar. The role involves testing, repairing, and integrating avionics systems on military aircraft.

Key responsibilities

• Perform testing, calibration, and troubleshooting of avionics components using test stations, oscilloscopes, multimeters, and signal generators.
• Remove, install, and replace avionics parts such as transmitters, receivers, antennas, and control panels following technical orders and engineering drawings.
• Conduct functional tests after repairs to verify correct operation and compliance with specifications.
• Assist in system integration with flight control and data network systems, collaborating with engineers and other maintenance personnel.
• Support cross‑utilization training (CUT) and work under general supervision.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 year of experience with aircraft avionics and E&E components.
• Willingness to work variable shifts, including weekends, overtime, and possible rotating schedules.
• Ability to obtain a US Security Clearance and meet local cultural requirements.
• Preferred experience on military fighter platforms (e.g., F‑16, F‑18, F‑22, F‑15).
