Cargo Strategic Partnerships Analyst – Business Systems

About the role

Qatar Airways is seeking a Cargo Strategic Partnerships Analyst to join its Cargo Strategic Partnerships department in Doha. The analyst will act as the primary link between business stakeholders and technology teams, translating commercial and operational partnership requirements into effective system solutions that improve performance and efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Own the interface between the Cargo Strategic Partnerships business team and IT functions, creating clear system requirements and functional specifications.
• Gather, document and prioritize business requirements for system enhancements supporting partnership operations.
• Coordinate design, testing and roll‑out of system solutions, including UAT support and validation.
• Troubleshoot system and data issues, working with IT to resolve gaps and ensure data integrity.
• Drive digitisation and automation of partnership processes, identifying opportunities to reduce manual effort and improve accuracy.
• Plan, coordinate and track system enhancement initiatives from requirement gathering through design, testing and deployment, managing timelines and stakeholder dependencies.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience.
• Understanding of cargo systems and partnership‑related business processes (advantage).
• Experience drafting business requirements, functional specifications, process documentation and supporting system enhancement initiatives.
• Proven ability in system testing, UAT coordination and issue resolution while collaborating with IT and business stakeholders.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and process‑improvement skills with a focus on digitisation and automation.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
